Mind Challenge

The students select from two different mind challenges.  The Wise Crew Club or Monsters Challenge Club  (Mastery Club).  The students will select a topic they are interested in learning more about and complete a mind challenge worksheet.  The student will have to return the completed worksheet to class and I will test them on the information.  If the student can prove them have learned about the topic and answer the topic questions then the student will earn a star.   After every five stars the students will receive a small prize.  There will be end of the year prizes and rewards.

Wise Crew Mind Challenge

Once the students have decided which question to explore, they will go to the link for that question.  The students will go to livebinder that has all of the links for each question.  It is organized by subject and then labeled with the corresponding question.  Students must first click on the subject tab (dark blue) that their question belongs to.  Then they must click on the correct # topic tab (grey) to get to their question.  The students need to get the worksheet from the classroom to complete after learning about their topic.

Monster Challenge (Mastery Club from Mrs. Renz Website)

Here are the websites that you can go to learn about the topics from Monster Challenge.  They also focus on Science, Social Studies, Math, Language Arts and Misc.  The students will have to get the worksheet from the classroom that goes along with the topic they are learning about.
